No one can forget the first Terminator movie, where Skynet, a malevolent artificial intelligence from the future, sends a robot assassin back in time to prevent a yet-unborn human from saving humanity from extinction.
The movie has had an outsized impact on how people think of Artificial Intelligence and has conditioned many to believe that using AI will indeed lead to a bleak future.
In this webinar, noted cybersecurity and AI expert Joseph Cheung will explore AI and its potential. He will start with a brief history of AI, discuss its present and future applications, and look at the potential for “Agentic Agency.” That is, AI models that resort to malicious behavior to avoid replacement or control. The presentation will also include a look at the legislative landscape, AI-secure frameworks, technical safeguards, organizational control, and how the future with AI can be secured.
