Building the Strategic Supply Chain Network

March 9, 2026 @ 9:00 am - March 10, 2026 @ 2:00 pm EDT

March 9, 2026 | 9:00 AM - March 10, 2026 | 2:00 PM

NIST
100 Bureau Drive | Gaithersburg, Maryland 20899

Recent disruptions—from pandemics to infrastructure failures to (rapidly) changing trade policies —have exposed critical vulnerabilities in the U.S. supply chain. These challenges demand coordinated, data-informed responses that bridge the gap between siloed operations and system-wide visibility, and yet be privacy preserving. This workshop will convene experts from academia, industry, and government to address the vision laid out in the OKN Roadmap: an Open Knowledge Network (OKN) to enable real-time visibility and resilience across the national supply chain.

The workshop will be structured around three supply chain scenarios: water supply, manufacturing contracts and freight transportation. For each of these scenarios, we will assess the state of practice and emerging challenges. We will use that information to formulate concrete project proposals to accelerate their solutions.

Please note: If you are registering to attend in-person at an event held at either a NIST, NCCoE, DoC or any other federal facility: These facilities are controlled-access facilities, and you will be asked a few additional questions prior to your arrival to process your registration. Attendees who do not complete the pre-arrival questions will not be permitted to enter.

Registration fee is $215. Fee includes AM Break and Snack, Lunch, PM Break and Snack and Dinner at Il Porto. Registration for in-person attendance will end by close of business March 4, 2026.
