Greetings!
Welcome to the latest issue of United States Cybersecurity Magazine. As always, we extend our gratitude to our sponsors, contributors, readers, and the wider cybersecurity community that makes this publication possible. Each issue is a testament to your commitment—not just to innovation, but to the security and prosperity of our nation.
Our mission here is simple but urgent: to inform, empower, and unify the American cybersecurity community. That includes everyone from seasoned professionals shaping policy and architecture, to the new voices entering the field with fresh ideas and fierce purpose.
Which is why we’d like to take a moment to spotlight a critical issue: How do we preserve privacy while we protect infrastructure? Specifically, how the rise of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), with its promise of “never trust, always verify,” can be guided not only by what’s possible, but by what’s right.
ZTA is one of the most talked-about developments in cybersecurity today. Its value in the face of insider threats, credential abuse, and distributed access models is undeniable. But many implementations lean heavily on pervasive monitoring and behavior profiling—methods that can quietly erode individual privacy and organizational trust. As national frameworks from NIST have made clear, security and privacy are not interchangeable. You need both to achieve both.
That’s where our community—and this magazine—comes in.
We need cybersecurity solutions that are functional and forward-thinking, rigorous and rights-respecting. Solutions that don’t just defend systems but also uphold American values in the process. That kind of progress starts with transparent dialogue. It starts with knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and a willingness to ask: Are we building systems that serve people—or systems that surveil them?
At United States Cybersecurity Magazine, we exist to elevate those conversations. We aim to be more than a publication—we are a platform for voices across the country to connect, challenge, and contribute. Whether you’re pioneering new approaches to privacy-aware security or advocating for better cybersecurity education, we want to help you share your insights and amplify your impact.
So, here’s our call to action: Join us. Submit an article. Sponsor an issue. Reach out and tell us how your team is helping build a safer, more secure, and more principled digital America.
Together, we can ensure that cybersecurity remains both a technical priority and a civic responsibility—guided by honesty, driven by mission, and accountable to the people it’s meant to protect.
