Chris Cook is an Associate Director of CyberTexas, a newly formed non-profit focused on expanding cybersecurity academic programs, retaining, recruiting, and growing cybersecurity businesses, and increasing community cybersecurity awareness and preparedness in Texas.  He has forty years of public service, serving in senior intelligence, cyber, cybersecurity, and public safety leadership positions in local and federal government.  He is also the principal owner of an independent senior management consultancy, San Antonio Cyber Consultants.
