A cybersecurity veteran for more than two decades, Chris Jordan has served as co-founder and CEO of Maryland-based Fluency Security since 2013. He offers a deeply blended array of technical and management experience in the security space, selling his previous company, Endeavor Security, to McAfee in 2009 and then serving as McAfee’s Vice President of Threat Intelligence from 2009 to 2012. Other previous leadership roles include engineering positions at forward-thinking cybersecurity organizations, including serving as an initial member of the U.S. Army Computer Emergency Response Team (ACERT). Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. Most recently, Chris serves as a founding co-host of the award-winning Beers and Bytes podcast that discusses the latest trends and challenges in cybersecurity while also critiquing micro-brews from around the country.
