Daniel Deeney is a seasoned enterprise software CEO, founder and venture capitalist with a track record of success building and growing global technology companies. Daniel recently co-founded Paladin Cloud, a leading, open source, cloud security company to help developers and security teams significantly reduce risks in cloud environments to protect their applications and data. In 2019, VMware (NYSE: VMW) acquired Daniel’s previous company, AetherPal, in a successful exit where he was CEO. Daniel has 15 years of experience as a venture capitalist investing in enterprise software and security companies. He was a Venture Partner at Touchdown Ventures managing a leading telecom corporate venture capital fund. He was a Founding Partner of New Venture Partners, a leading institutional venture capital firm with $700 million under management.
