Paul Mehney serves as the Director of Public Communications for the U.S Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command. CECOM sustains command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance readiness while enabling integrated network capability for the Army. He also serves as the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) installation public communications lead. APG is home to 11 major Army commands and supports more than 80 tenants, 20 satellite and 17 private activities. The installation provides facilities to perform research, development, testing and evaluation of Army materiel. Mehney holds a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University.
