Scott R. Gane, CPP, is the President and Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Huffmaster. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the administration, operation, and financial health of the division, as well as the security consulting line of business. In that capacity, Scott manages security program evaluation, corporate policy and procedure development, training, federal security compliance initiatives (with an emphasis on FSMA, CFATS, MARSEC and CTPAT), corporate investigations, security risk, threat, and vulnerability analysis, and business risk management. He is the former President of Gane Security Solutions, LLC, Senior Security Manager at General Atomics of San Diego, CA, Vice President of AlliedBarton Security Services of King of Prussia, PA, Regional Vice President for Initial Security of San Antonio, TX, Director of Loss Prevention for Tootsie Roll Industries in Chicago, IL, Senior Security & Fire Prevention Administrative Compliance Coordinator for the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant in Bridgman, MI.

Scott is also a veteran of the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, serving as one of the first firefighters/paramedics in the department and later as a sworn police officer. He is a 30-year ASIS International member, is board certified in security management and holds the title of Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and served as a committee member for the development of ANSI Standards on Workplace Violence Prevention and Intervention, Risk Assessments, and Investigations, which were subsequently published.
