Scott Smurthwaite, PhD has over 25 years of experience in the technology arena and has implemented secure IT systems for an array of clients including The World Bank, Discovery Communications Inc, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC). Currently, Scott works at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Information System Security Engineer. He received his doctorate degree in Neuroscience from The American University in Washington, D.C., and has lived within a few miles of the White House for the last 35 years.
