Thomas Beatty is a Program Manager in the UAS Safety & Operations Branch at the Federal Aviation Administration. He has a master’s degree in Project Management, a BS in Professional Aeronautics with a minor in both Aviation Safety, and Business Management. After serving over twenty years in the Air Force, he set his sights on continuing to advance the aviation community by seeking best practices, technology, and collaborative relationships to safely and expediently evolve aviation operations. “UAS is the perfect place for me; the only constant is change, and the only limits are our imagination.”
