Sharon Flank is founder and CEO of InfraTrac, which focuses on anti-counterfeiting solutions for packaging, pharmaceuticals, electronics and 3D printing. An entrepreneur with a background in software, she founded InfraTrac in 2006, expanding on technology developed at the University of Maryland. InfraTrac develops product protection solutions based on spectroscopy.
At eMotion and SRA International, Dr. Flank led technical efforts for successful commercial products, and helped spin out companies to AOL and Kodak. She has authored numerous journal articles on anti-counterfeiting, medication errors, 3D printing, search engines, and natural language processing. Dr. Flank holds ten patents. She received her A.B. from Cornell and her Ph.D. from Harvard.
