The Board Is Asking the Wrong Security Question

I’ve sat in many boardrooms where 76% of directors feel their security spend is "adequate". Yet, the reality is far more dangerous. In recent years, supply chain attacks increased by 44%, proving that our traditional defenses are failing.

It’s worrying that 90% of companies still fall below basic security maturity levels for advanced threats. Even though more than half of the board members expect a major attack this year, we are often still focused on the wrong security metrics.
