Douglas Kaluhiokalani has 17 years of cybersecurity leadership experience and serves as CEO and CISO of Cyber Kata, LLC. A veteran of U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command, he has operated in some of the world’s most challenging environments, an experience that continues to shape his perspective on threat hunting, incident response, and adversary emulation. His approach is grounded in firsthand operational insight and a deep understanding of how attackers think and operate.
At the international level, Kaluhiokalani serves as a Senior Advisor and Key Leader for the U.S. National Blue Team at NATO’s Cooperative Cyber Defense Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE). Selected as one of approximately 200 Americans to participate in Locked Shields, the world’s largest live-fire cyber defense exercise, he contributes at the critical intersection of technical execution, strategic leadership, and national-scale cyber defense.
