Rick Smith is an IT visionary with nearly three decades of experience leading teams across the entire technology spectrum. After eight years as a banker, Rick joined the American Bankers Association and transitioned from finance to technology. During his 28-year tenure at ABA, he has focused on safely and securely aligning technology with business goals and strategies. As Vice President of IT Strategy, he currently directs governance, enterprise modernization and third-party risk management initiatives. Rick lives with his family in Manassas, VA and will graduate with a Master’s degree in Technology Management from Georgetown University in Fall 2024.From the Summer 2024 Issue
